Bales of Fun at the Pumpkin Patch Festival

It’s hard to fully appreciate how cool the Pumpkin Patch festival is until you have a 2 year old. Held just west of Buena Vista at the home of Weathervane Farm, Colorado Grown and Cottonwood Creek Dairy, Pumpkin Patch is chock full of activities that kids can’t get enough of. Hay rides to pick out your future Jack-O-Lantern at the pumpkin patch, pony rides, a petting zoo, feeding the cows, walking the hay bale maze, face painting… the list goes on. But judging by how many other families we saw there today, plenty of other kiddos find this all to be loads of fun as well.

There’s still one more day (tomorrow) to go check out this wonderful event celebrating the harvest time in our valley. And you can get a window on the fun in the gallery below. Happy harvest!
