Having invested heavily in the town of Buena Vista’s river park, it makes us really happy to see a project like the Buena Vista Disc Golf Course become a reality. Yesterday was the official ribbon cutting, and the course’s first 9 holes are now open for free public use! Another 9 holes are planned. South Main was more than happy to sponsor a hole and support yet another unique amenity for the river park. Many thanks to Scott and Todd Reece for spearheading this effort and pouring an incredible amount of time and effort into the course, to the other sponsors that helped make it happen, and to the volunteers that have helped with the course. This is a perfect example of the type of public-private partnership that is making our town more and more fun every year. Find the 1st hole at the end of East Main Street (turn left, north, just after the baseball diamond) and get your discs at The Trailhead or Colorado Kayak Supply. See you on the course!
